The history of our store is unique. Ace corporate had our building built to be an ACE Hardware. They then gave it away in a National Contest in 2007. The winner bailed after 1 ½ years and sold everything. In the Fall of 2010, we were looking to start a business. We chose this location because it was intended to be an Ace Hardware. 13 years later we are still here thanks to our many loyal customers. Why did we choose to open a hardware store? Two big reasons. Bob grew up fixing things. He thanks his father for the knowledge he was given. Secondly, he believes hardware is one of the few retail opportunities where your customers return to thank you for the help you have given them. It is such a rewarding feeling.
We are a pet friendly store. Bella & Bindi don't come to the store as much anymore, but we welcome your pet anytime you come.
Our primary community involvement focus is the Children’s Miracle Network. That is the Ace Corporate donation choice, and we do several different types of activities all year in their support. The beauty of CMN is that all donations stay in our local area hospitals. We also have a soft spot for our local Boy and Girl Scouts. Bob was a Boy Scout leader while our 2 boys were young scouts. Please support them if you see them in front of our store trying to raise money. Our community schools are also high on our list for involvement. We do many gift baskets to support school events.
Paint – Carol is our Paint Manager. Not only can she mix paint, she can match any color you bring in as small as a nickel. If you need help choosing from the thousands of colors offered, ask Carol.
Keys – We can match 95% of the car keys out there at a fraction of the dealer cost. Come give us a try.
Sweet Gracie's Boutique – is a gift/home goods shop inside our hardware store. Come see our giftware specialist for any help you may need finding a gift or something for yourself or your home.
Plumbing – We carry bath repair parts for both old and new houses.
Lawn & Garden – Sometimes you want to know things, other times kill things. Come in and talk to us about your lawn or garden issues.
Grills – We have many avid grillers that work in our store. We can suggest rubs, sauces and pellets to create the perfect main dish. We can also help you decide which grill best fits your needs. We assemble and deliver grills for free.
